I'm currently on day 10, and when I run out of the gallon of Grade B I imported from the US (I live in Australia) I would like to continue, however the only maple I can locate is labelled "Canada No. 1 Medium" (Tania Brand). Is this the same as Grade B? If not will it be acceptable or should I stop and re-order some Grade B and wait for it to come in (took 3 weeks last time) and then start again.- Re: Advice re Syrup Grade "Canada No... Courtney

I live in Cananda, and they for some reason aren't allowed to label Grade A,B or C right on the bottle, but the cap seal has a small letter printed on this ( i was told this at my health food store), anyway...it is the #1-medium that is grade B...thats what they told me, and then pointed out the little "B" on the seal.
