Hey Rainy,
I'm sorry no one answered your question, I saw it but didn't know how to use the Tooth Powder and at the time didn't have time to do a search to find it.
Here is what Uny says about it.
'Glad to hear your teeth/mouth enjoyed it!
You don't have to worry; it won't stain your teeth...if it did, there'd be thousands of people walking around with stained teeth (and just as many notes all over the internet)...and Dr. Christopher's company wouldn't still be selling it.
Yes, I suppose the herbs could discolor the plastic bristles of some toothbrushes. I use it once or twice a week, and although it's messy, it's never stained my toothbrush bristles, or my sink...but I don't have a porous, marble sink :( We've never had any one else report that happening.
I'd think if you kept the water running in the sink/basin and only spit the tooth powder into the running water, it wouldn't be likely to stain. Even regular toothpaste can/will 'stain' sinks - I still have an old tube of Crest that I use to UNstain my sink (and remove the mineral build-up from the around the faucet).
I'm sorry there weren't any type of instructions - I didn't realize people needed instructions on how to use tooth powder (duh me) - what you did was correct. Just wet the brush and 'dip it in' or sprinkle it on (that's the only way I can think of to do it). People also use this to pack around their gum-line to prevent & treat periodontal disease.
curezone.com/forums/fm.asp.....Be sure to click on the link in the post below because it tells about all the benefits of the herbs in it.
I brush my teeth several times a day (and always have)! I use the Tooth & Gum Formula (liquid) mostly...and sometimes I still just HAVE to have that peppermint taste-thing, so even though it has glycerine, I occasionally use Jason's (no fluoride...EVER).
Read through this...curezone.com/forums/fm.asp ...and you'll understand how BOTH formulas work and how beneficial they are to teeth and gums. By the way, both formula last FOREVER - they're a HUGE savings over toothpaste.
Hope this answers your question ;)
Blessings,
Willow
Well shame on me! :(
Here is the original posting: I just started brushing my teeth with Uny's Tooth & Gum Formula (liquid oil). I put a few droppersful in a cup and keep dipping my toothbrush in it while I brush my teeth without diluting it in water. I do not rinse it off. Is this ok or is there anything in the formula that would harm my teeth by leaving it on my teeth? Will this remove the glycerin coating caused by toothpaste? Will this help my teeth to remineralize naturally? I brush my teeth with plain water first to remove any food and I floss after I brush with the formula. I also got some of your powder. Wow, I don't know what I'm going to do with that. Yes, it is messy. The worst part is trying to clean up the toothbrush after brushing. Maybe I could find some cheap throw away tooth brushes somewhere. ;)
I should not have removed the post. I thought maybe no one answered because it had stupid questions. I have just recently started research on Dental Health so I don't know much. I did save it on my computer as I was going to try to ask it in another forum later maybe with some revision. You and Willow did a great job from memory. :)
Thank you so much. You and Willow are the greatest. :)
