Yep, just put mine on the bed, I was very impressed. I sleep on high thread count sheets, always have, so I was really worried about it being scratchy but it sure didn't feel scratchy when I rubbed it against my leg when I was putting it on the bed. Whew, that makes me even more excited lol!
I doubt anything you rig up could equal this and it's already there and done for you.
Thank you Mike for this info. I don't want to buy more stuff than I really need. I had a copper rod at one time that I used to use for grounding a CB radio antenna or something.
I'd say the chances of getting zapped by lightning in bed would be minute. Thunder wakes me up so I should be all set.
I agree with Chiron and Raider on the subject of David Wolfe. I'm sure he has a wealth of information on natural remedies but quite frankly, the guy reminds me of a pushy used car salesman. I have never been able to get through a whole video he made lol, that however does not invalidate what he says about earthing/grounding ;)
I agree, I've never bought any of his products but I do think they are probably good. I did watch parts of a series he did on the earthing products and I know they work! ;)

Sure thing, I'll be happy to explain (although "changing my mind" seems like quite a stretch of an assumption), but before I explain further I'll clear up a few 'factual tidbits' so there's no confusion regarding this very important subject:
--There's been nothing posted from you asking me about a 'grounding blanket'
--In your post above where you said "this is what you said" and then posted a link/copy of my post, I did say/post exactly that of course...but I wasn't saying it to you (or in response to a question that you didn't ask me :)
--I did not say it was most likely a gimic! (But of course, you 'reading that into what I said' would account for why you feel I've somehow 'changed my mind')

Regarding "changing my mind" -- I have certainly altered my opinion after reading the Earthing book, but there are many things I have not 'changed my mind' on, so I want to be sure and be clear.
--There is no perfect & complete substitute for a human being grounded directly to the earth itself. Optimally, we would all be in contact with the earth 24 hours a day (as the vast majority of the earth's population has been throughout history)...and I doubt the authors of the Earthing book would disagree with that.
--There are many benefits to being grounded directly to the earth (especially through our barefeet) that no 'earthing gizmo' can replicate. 'Tis noted in the book that we have around 1300 nerve endings in the soles of our feet (that's 1300 nerve endings per square inch!) , and while each one of those nerve endings corresponds with an acupuncture or reflexology point that leads directly to a specific organ and/or system of our body (the benefits/implications of K1 Acupuncture point was elaborated beautifully in the book). When we stand or walk upon the earth barefooted, all of these nerve endings/reflex point provide a 'direct connection' that cannot be achieved in an 'earthing sandal' or by using an earthing mat - because only a certain percentage of the bottom of the foot will be in direct contact with 'the ground' (and even then, it's not in touch with the actual earth itself).
--And of course, that doesn't begin to include the benefits of being 'outside of a toxic building and on the earth' while we are Earthing/barefooting. As I said before - the sunlight/sungazing (the Vitamin D and effect on our skin), the higher levels of oxygen, the fact that ALL of those nerve endings in our feet are touching the earth (not to mention the 'unknown' benefits of how each will be enhanced by all of them working together), means that we will never get the 'absolute bestest benefit' from using a sheet or a mat. BUT (and it's a HUGE "but")...what kind of benefit are we going to get if we only 'barefoot' 15-30 minutes daily a few times a week, vs sleeping on a grounding pad/sheet 8 hours a night and having a mat under our feet (or butt) whenever we sit down? NOT ENOUGH!
After reading the book, I was enlightened to one main thing that I had not realized before...
-- "Earthing" has much more benefit regarding the "taking in" of the earth's healing frequencies*** than just the "taking out" of the toxic frequencies we encounter daily. And although I had discerned that the 'uptake of the good' was a part, until I read the book I had NO IDEA (!!!) just how impactfully positive this aspect really is. The 'grounding out the bad' is great, but it's simply phenomenal how impactful (and restoring) the 'uptake' of the negative charge of the earth really is! And we should avail ourselves to that as many hours a day as possible via whatever gizmo we can get...whether it contacts all 1300 nerve endings per square inch on our feet, or not!!!
***Regarding the "earth's healing frequencies". After reading this book (as I hope everyone will), I understand something very clearly. The frequencies of the earth are not really "healing frequencies"...what they are is VITAL to natural life & existence (just like oxygen, water & food).. Without being grounded daily, we are suffering a self-induced disease of "deficiency" that is really no different that dehydration, suffocating or starving to death.
In order to heal our body from 'whatever' disease or issue we have, the very first thing we always must do is "stop doing what harms our body"...and starving our body of the natural grounding it requires is no different than depriving ourself of vital nutrition, water, or oxygen. WITH ample amounts of what our body needs, our body can heal itself of ANYTHING...something that's been proven many times over by the great healers upon whose protocols we focus. But we can make it MUCH easier by providing our body with the one "nutrient" we haven't known we needed...and getting ourselves earthed - barefooted - grounded IS going to provide us with that nutrient (Vitamin G :)!

Yes, please do report back about the sheet. I'll report on mine Saturday since mine will be here tomorrow. In the book the testimonies vary with how many nights it takes to notice a difference. I'm hoping I'll be one of those who fall asleep immediately!
