Are you sure it's constipation? It's not just bloating? I know when things were bad, it felt like I couldn't breathe cause things were just so damn full in my gut.
Turns out that's a mix of things including having a minor lung issue, lack of ability to breathe as my chest was so damn tight from cortisol, but also bloating as my system was unable to absorb stuff I was producing a LOT of gas. (yuck, eh?)
What did an MD say about that?
If it truly is constipation, there are a lot of options for that which your MD (Medical Doctor) can help with. Naturopaths can too, but education is really important.
If you can't absorb anything through your digesttive system, have you tried Epsom Salt
baths? That gets magnesium into your system through your skin. It helps a lot with cortisol, and other stuff. It's cheap too.
Are you getting out for long walks? That'll burn off the cortisol.
Good luck, but seriously, research the digestive system, and the effects of stress on removing blood/focus from it.
