ok Summer is here and all the RV"S are about to travel, MH I really looked into the cleanest water possable for showering, bathing, and you had responded in a post that distilled is best and I agree, but after much research this is a tough hard thing to do.

1st- to produce enough distilled water for a family of 5 to shower, bath, wash etc, the HEAT CREATED IN SUMMER months would be unbearable from the high output machine combined with electric costs.

WOULD A SOLUTION BE REVERS OSMOSIS ???
again its NOT to drink, we have distillers for drinking.


is reverse osmosis the answer to bathing water.

So how about running tap water through a series of reverse osmosis filter, like one after anouther, and even using a CERAMIC PRE FILTER.

also RV'S need water portabley as people live in these motor home for weeks and sometimes months, so again WHAT IS MH'S TAKE ON REVERS OSMOSIS FOR BATHING SHOWERING IS IT EVEN CLOSE TO DISTILLED WATER, AND AGAIN IF WE WERE TO RUN THE WATER THROUGH A FEW OF THESE FILTERS AT ONE TIME.

and yes we are willing to buy polyethelene storage water barrels and we will buy sump pumps and water heaters.

so is reverse osmosis the next best thing to distilled water for showers and bathing for families or is there a different direction to go in.

or does the actual filters take out the tap water contaminats and then leach there own toxins from the filter media inside.??
