Yep, after about 3 days you want to macerate it in a blender.
My new moon tinctures from April didn't get macerated until about 2 or 3 weeks after I tinctured them because I was just too busy to do it. That didn't matter for me because I've got such a huge store of tinctures, but if I was going to harvest it on the full moon then I'd make sure I macerated it after 3 days, it will make a stronger tincture. ;-)
Oh NO!!!! :(
Were you able to save any at all?
I know how you must feel because last time I was pressing tinctures I knocked a whole 1/2 gallon of Echinacea off the counter onto the tile floor! Not only that, I was in the process of pressing and knocked over a whole 2 cups of pressed Echinacea when I tried to catch the 1/2 gallon before it hit the floor lol! It was an awful mess but losing that much tincture hurt my feelings more than the mess did!
You can always start a new batch next new moon but if you eally need the tincture I'd go ahead and make some more even though its not new moon. Tincture not started on the new moon is better than no tincture at all ;)
