I received my metametrix results, so pinworm and pptu.

I'm taking vermox for pinworm, and I feel better, ordered also albenza (albendazole).

So for the pptu, a lot of people get that,, and it needs to be treated. But I don't really know how to do it.
I have some furazolidone on my shelf but never tried it.

I'm going to see an MD, and I have to explain him what is it. So in your opinion, could it be a "classic" protozoa, that is there for a long time, and somewhat mutated and is not in the metametrix database?? I don't really believe in rare parasite, or ingested, non human parasite, this thing is there for a long time.

That said, how could I treat it, is there any people that tried a successful protocol with PPTU?


I could ask him to test me, but I don't have a lot of hope with the standard tests.

Which drug should I suggest him, a broad spectrum drug? A drug combination?

Will try furazolidone and albenza on my own.
