So after trying to figure out what is wrong with me for over a year now, ive finally firgured it out! Another user on these forums provided me with this link to this post on this site. Here it is:
It pretty much explained how most people have LOW CORTISOL, not HIGH cortisol. Low cortisol can not be cured from herbs. All adaptogen herbs LOWER cortisol and this is not good for people with low cortisol. Having higher cortisol is actually much healthier. Not healthy in general, but better than having low cortisol. So this would explain how herbs would make me feel jittery and energetic for the first day I use it, and then they wouldnt work. Low cortisol would explain me being so skinny. High cortisol causes weight gain. This would also explain me always being cold and never sweating. High cortisol causes the opposite with tons of sweating.
Believe it or not, ive heard heavier people are actually healthier than under weight people. Heavier people actually absorb nutrients pretty well.
So basically, how do I treat low cortisol problem?
