Mh any thoughts on this weird distiller, it uses a vacuum, also it appears to have 3 different ways to collect the water, it can be harnest via solar also.
AS I PERSONALLY NOTICE WITH ALL DISTILLERS IS THE HEAT LOSS SHOULD BE UTILISED AND I SAY WHY WAISTE THAT HEAT AND WHY NOT HEAT UP EVEN MORE WATER AND DISTILL IT.
SOMETHING NO DISTILLERS ON THE MARKET DO !!!
UNDER NEGITIVE 25 MERCURY VACUUMED OF PRESSURE
YOU COOK THAT EXTRA WATER
HEY MH YOU KNOW YOUR DISTILLERS, YOU KNOW YOUR HEAT ESCAPES THROUGH THAT FAN, SO WHY NOT PLACE SOME MORE WATER TO BE DISTILLED ABOVE IT, SO SOME HOW TRAP THAT HEAT AND USE IT AS A SECOND DISTILLER.
I prefer to use the bulk of the distillers in the winter months as a method to "heat", example, I built a new building to put all herbs in, a central location so to say....in that building I used distillers for the heat source, the propane furnace never kicked on even when it was below zero outside. I actually opend the windows while working on some days.
I have always suggested people buy two 12 gallon capacity water distillers and seek to have a few dozen customers to buy your water. Sell your water at cost or a mild profit and have no expense in your winter heat.
Otherwise you are correct, you could preheat your incoming water above your distiller. I personally run the incoming water through the common hot water heater first.
