For me, bloated belly, having a highly acidic body chemistry, gas and indigestion resulting from poor digestion, and a plugged up colon all went hand in hand. What finally got rid of bloated belly was a combination of digestive enzyme capsules(including panceatin) with every meal, liver flushing, high water intake(at least 16-24 glasses of water a day), use of
Oxypowder (to clean out my colon), greatly increased intake of vegetables and daily exercise. It took about 4
Liver Flushes and about 4 months on this regime before the bloating and associated gas, acid reflux, indigestion, heart burn, etc., began to clear up. Based on experience, ingesting more high alkaline foods(cucumbers, apricots, watermelon, stevia(as a sweetner), radishes, etc.,) combined with the
Liver Flushing and digestive enzymes seemed to help push my body to healthier alkaline state. I also consume 2 Tablespoons of apple cidar vinegar in a glass of water two times a day. Despite the belief that apple cidar vinegar should not be consumed by highly acidic people, apple cidar vinegar produces a alkaline ash when it is burned. Since the oxidative process that food undergoes when it is digested is similiar to the process food undergoes when it is burned, the fact is that apple cidar vinegar produces a alkaline ash and will not make you more acidic. From what I understand, apple cidar vinegar is good for people who are too acidic as well as people who are too alkaline as it tends to create a balance either type to a healthier PH. Don't buy store bought apple cidar vinegar as this is distilled and void of all nutrients. Go to a health food store and purchase one that is raw, unpasturized, with the "mother."
