Hi Jake,
First off welcome to the forum! I'm glad you landed here because Uny is in the process of working on a couple of posts for people that are dealing with coming off Accutane. She should have these posts completed in the next couple of days so you can gather some information from them while you're waiting for her reply. If you've been reading through the forum I guess you've seen just how detailed her responses are. :)
She'll answer you just as soon as she can. In the meantime Uny has a list of questions to help her customize and give recommendations for a protocol for each individual, if you could answer them it will help her to compile your post.

kk so here we go.
**Age, Sex, Height/Weight (proportionate? under/overweight? if you don't want to be specific :)**
25,M, 80kg, I'm slim, always have been, but have a fair bit of weight on gut and thighs.
**Exercise daily? weekly? never? (how much, what type?)**
I exercise everyday and it does make me feel better. I have had more energy lately with what Ive been doing. I bike, box, jog, play tennis, basketball etc
**Water:--how much water do you drink daily? (what kind of water? tap; filtered -what kind of filter?-; reverse osmosis (RO); distilled; spring/mineral; other)**
I drink the 8 glasses or more. Mainly tap water, some bottled mineral water. My city fluoridates the water so i'm very wary of it and I cant really afford a reverse osmosis filter at the moment. Large amounts of water make me more constipated, bloated, edema etc, also worsens mental symptoms.
**Other beverages (daily, occasionally):**
Juice, I have in the past been known to go out drinking every few weeks with my friends, but these days I try to avoid it at all costs.
**Diet (in any given week) - please be as specific as possible:**
Let me preface the diet section by saying that I feel better when I eat nothing and drink nothing. I have gone a couple of days without eating before and drinking water minimally and by the end my mind was clearer than ever and I was no longer swollen in hte face and body. I just felt much lighter and better...
**--white sugar? white flour? white salt?**
I try to avoid as much sugar as possible, but sometimes I give up and binge, as I do have strong cravings for these products at times. I dont eat bread, or other white flour products. I dont eat white salt, I have Himalayan pink salt
**--processed foods?**
Try to avoid, but have been known to binge.
**--gmo frankenfoods (non-organic: soy/derivatives, corn/derivatives, canola/cottonseed oil, beet sugar)**
None that I know of.
**--how many/what kind of fruits/veggies daily? (raw, steamed, cooked?)**
Some kinds of cooked veges everyday, like potato, tomatoes, salads, corn, avocado, capsicum. I've cut way down on fruit as I find I feel worse when I have them. The veges are usually either steamed boiled or raw.
**--dairy (what kind? how much?)**
I love dairy, but fear I'm sensitive to it, as I crave it. Milk gives me bad skin breakouts and weird mental symptoms so I avoid. I still eat yoghurt, cheese and butter.
**--meat (what kind? how much?)**
Eat meat everyday, chicken breasts/thighs, pork, lamb, beef, steaks etc. Also eggs most days.
**--oils & fats (what kind? how much?)**
Butter, avocado, virgin olive oil, animal fats; most days
**--what percentage of the above is organic?**
Not much, I buy organic sometimes when I can afford, and I do notice difference in taste and how I feel, but I can only get when pheasable.
**Do you use a microwave oven? If so, how often?**
I used to a lot, but not much these days, only about once a week maybe.
**How "un-wired" are you at home and at work? Cell phone? WiFi? Cordless phone (what mHz or gHz? DECT?); other wireless toys & gadgets?**
Very wired, wifi althrough house for internet etc, use cell phone a fair bit.
**Are you exposed to chemicals in the home or workplace frequently? If so, what?**
Not specifically. I'm very chemically sensitive though. Can smell perfumes from a a mile away, and they give me headaches and very unpleasant feelings.
**Allergies (food, chemical, drugs, other):**
No classic allergies, just intolerances and sensitivities to most things.
**Food "reactions":**
The strongest I can think of is milk, which gives me bad skin sometimes, also makes me feel very depressed and "out of it"
**Pharmaceutical drugs (current/past):**
None current, large history of differing drugs however. Multitude of antibiotics long term for acne. Then Roaccutane. A plethora of antidepressants/antipsycotics came next for suicidal depression and severe anxiety. You name it I probably tried it. Also was on benzos for a while for severe panic attacks.
**Over The Counter drugs (current/past):**
Laxatives periodically when I get really constipated. Work but then make constipation worse.
**Drugs "other" (current/past):**
**Supplements (please be as specific as possible as include 'name brands' and amounts taken):**
Supplements supplements and more supplements. Ive tried them all, wasted thousands of dollars. Too many to name. most notable have been zinc and b6 to treat possible pyroluria. I also took sublingual b12 for a while which seemed to do some good. I dont really want to go into detail as just talking about it makes me depressed.
Currently I dont really take any supplements apart from milk thistle occasionally, also tribulus, and some tumeric and cayenne pepper. Supplements have never really done much for me.
**Other current therapies, cleanses or protocols:**
Currently I follow the beck protocol, I drink ozonated water, use a zapper about 20 mins each day and also use a magnetic pulser. I also tried my first coffee enema the other day and didnt really like it.. Not entirely sure if it helped or made me feel worse.
I also have been changing my diet. I have cut out sources of fibre with GOOD results, my digestion is actually working better now, and i feel better.
**What, if anything, are you are doing or taking now that is yielding positive results?**
The beck protocol seems to be helping, ever so slowly. Exercise helps me A LOT. The low fibre seems to be helping, as does trying to not drink too much water even though I am excessively thirsty all the time.
**What, if anything, have you done in the past that yielded negative results?**
Most supplements I took made me feel worse in many ways. I tried the juicing of veges, in some ways it made me feel better, in others made me feel worse.
**Recent vaccines:**
**How many bowel movements daily/weekly? (color, consistency, etc)**
About 4 a week on a good week. They are very weird shaped, come out in peices and are different shaded colors a lot of the time. No blood I dont think, but not sure.
**Do you have a juicer? (if so what kind? centrifugal; single auger; masticating; if you don't know, what's the brand/model?)**
Yes, havent used it for ages, i tried the juicing for a while, and it actually seemed to "cure" some of my symptoms, however I think it mayb have just shifted toxins around my body as my mental state got worse and I got all new symptoms. The brand is breville, and its a very large thing that takes ages to clean up
**Current Health Issues (the more details, the better!):**
Still not right at all in the head, depression, anxiety, a weird disconnection from reality and from people. Sometimes I feel like an alien, I just dont understand what is going on around me. Also feel numb with no emotion like a zombie a lot of the time, no excitement, no emotion. Paranoid of people, hate everyone for no reason. I could go on and on.
Other than that my eyes arent right and havent been since i took accutane. I find it hard adjusting to light and darkness, vision always blurry and uncomfortable, horrible. Severe constipation which seems to exacerbate symptoms. Skin still breaks out in pimples. Itcty rashes, chemical and food sensitivities. All these pale in comparison to my crippling mental state.
**If you've consulted any type of practitioner, what did they determine or suggest? Do you agree?**
Been to many many practitioners, allopathic, naturopathic, tcm/acupuncturist, psychologist, even a hypnotherapist. Many have presented me with things they think are going on, but I always end up believing their method is not getting to the core root of my health problems.
**Have you ever done any "cleansing"? (colon, liver, kidney, etc); if so, when and what type/product & results?**
Tried colon cleansing with fibre supplements etc, make me way way more constipated and backed up. I tried a liver flush once, very unpleasant experience. Not many good results to report
**What other types of allopathic, alternative or natural therapies or protocols have you tried (if any)? results?**
**Past issues, drugs, surgeries that you think may be contributing to current issues?**
Accutane definately, but it only stirred things up for me. I had many long courses of antibiotics. I had a mercury filling when I was a kid but htat fell out with my baby teeth.
**Any major changes in diet, supplements, drugs, stress-levels, location, lifestyle recently? results?**
**Are you aware of the difference between "alternative medicine" and truly natural healing?**
Some of them i guess
**What do YOU think & discern is wrong (and why?)**
to be quite honest I still dont know. My problems are mainly mental in nature. However it certainly isnt "all in my head", there is something physical going. I was thinking something like lyme disease, but I'm still not sure.
Phew thats all of them. Sorry if I wasnt detailed enough but I'm tired and need to go to bed now :)
thanks.
Thanks Jake, that will really help Uny when she answers you.
Hang in there!
Willow
Hi Jake,
Sorry it's taking so long but I know Uny is just about finished with two of the three or four long posts that were ahead of you. Thanks for understanding! I think it's great your starting to cleanse while you're waiting!
Did you order some IF#2 to go with the IF#1? The foundation of cleansing is the colon, we always start with at least a 30 day colon cleanse, sometimes longer. You can read all about it in our FAQs. Also you might want to consider coffee enemas.

Fantastic, you've got bee pollen! You might want to read a great post that Uny made, it has great links for reading just how powerful bee pollen is. They say you're supposed to start just sampling a few pellets to make sure you don't have a reaction then build up over a couple of weeks the amount you take. Maybe the reason it made you feel funny is you might have taken too much the first time.
Get'cher pollen on... BEE POLLEN info ...Buzz Buzz!
An RO system would be great, you can also get a water distiller, fluoride = bad, Bad, BAD!!!!!!!!! I think I'd even buy distilled water at the grocery store until I got a system before I'd drink another drop of fluoridated water!
Cayenne is another powerful healing therapy, the hotter the better! Check your Inbox for a PM from me.
We've got a lot of people on the forum that are making Kefir with both water and dairy Kefir grains. You can do a search on the forum and find lots of posts about that, it's great too!
Blessings,
Willow
Yes, all the herbs in both the IFs need to be powder. A Vita-Mix works great for this if you have one, if not I'd use a blender but be sure not to let the herbs get hot. You're right it might take some time to get regulated on the IF#1 and you need to be having 3 BMs using the IF#1 before you start the IF#2.
In my opinion distilled water is the absolute best! I've been drinking distilled water well over 20 years and I'm just fine lol. Uny has an RO system in her house and I'm sure if it wasn't good water she wouldn't be using it so no worries. Below are some articles on distilled water. I'll search and see if I can find any on RO water. And, I would absolutely buy distilled water in a plastic container (you can put it glass) before I'd EVER drink one drop of fluoride water. In fact, I carry my distilled water with me everywhere I go so I don't have to drink fluoridated water if we stop and get something to eat!

Does Drinking Distilled Water Leach Minerals From The Body?
Both Dr. Christopher and Dr. Schulze used distilled water in their protocols. Hope this helps to ease your mind.
