So far Garlic is helping me. I have been taking it for an infection and at first it made my Sugar
go too low and I was ravenously hungry every hour and a half or so. I stopped taking it and decided to try again cause of an infection. Some how my body started tolerating it and I have been taking anywhere from 3-6 cloves to start off per day and noticed the aching adrenals has hardly been happening at all since doing this and my tolerance for things has gone up. Today I turned up the radio pretty loud for a couple of songs I liked and usually I can't do that. I"m slowly tolerating carbs more since the garlic as well. I really think this has something to do with inflammation. Of course you would think maybe because it's taking care of the infection that is why I'm getting a little better but that is not it cause this infection (UTI) only goes away for a very short period of time and it's right back, so I have had to start probiotics to help try and keep away this UTI. IT's helping me sleep for the most part too and I quit taking my fish oil while taking garlic (don't want my blood to get too thin). My fish oil before was helping me sleep and it's an anti-inflammatory as well. I'm wondering if we all need a lot more anti-inflammatory foods in our diets like garlic in larger amounts ever day as part of this therapy to start seeing better results.
I don't want to eliminate my fish oil so I will probably do fish oil one day and lots of raw garlic the next.
