hi all,
HAY
my brother has 1 crown on his tooth which is made of
"platinum". it was expensive.
THATS A NEW ONE...
his dentist told him not to get it and he was right!
WELL, THAT SAYS ALLOT ABOUT YOUR BROTHER'S CHOICES.
(old school dentist,
but if the client demands it - what can he do??)
anyway,
trying to educate my brother and he seems to be listening.
the guy has $$$ so can afford the best dental.
i would like him to change the crown.
KEY WORDS HERE ARE YOU....YOUR DESIRES...........MAKES LITTLE DIFFERANCE TO THE FELLOW THAT IS LIVING HIS LIFE HIS WAY......AND NATURALLY, IF YOU COULDN'T CHANGE HIS MIND BEFORE HE DID IT, WHY WASTE YOUR BREATH NOW...
i understand all dental is toxic, but he refuses to have
no crown.
there seems to be a few options:
porcelain and zerconium
i can see on this forum that porcelain is extremely hard
and it can damage other teeth - so you need to be careful
with it.
but i cannot find anything on zerconium,
i have heard it is the least toxic and also very hard,
but wanted to get comfirmation of this.
or is there another material i'm missing which is best?
would appreciate any advice or push me in the right direction.
all the best,
IF YOU NEED A CROWN, MOST IN AMERICA GO FOR PORCEILIN, THEY ARE VERY EXPENSIVE AND 30 YEARS AGO WAS CONSIDERED NOT AN OPTION FOR HEALTH REASONS.
