To answer your question, this time around I am not exercising daily due to my low energy during this particular fast. Every fast is different for me. Whenever I have a burst of energy I jump onto my exercise bike for 10-15 minutes until I wear myself out. Sometimes twice a day, and some days I do nothing. As I am in it for the long haul this time, I'm not as concerned about workouts. :)

In response, I began doing several 5 to 10 day fasts about two months ago. Typically I lose 1.5
pounds a day and when I break the fast about 3
pounds returns in the form of water weight. What I do lose stays off as long as I eat healthy whole foods and stay away from junk. Fasting is an excellent tool for weight loss as long as you have the disciple. Yes, the weight will stay off! :)
