Thanks. Yeh its a real pain tbh... I have some job interviews coming up, doing the best man duties in a wedding, not overly confident about giving a speech infront of 100s with scales.....
Toothpaste - I use bog standard toothpaste. Macleans freshmint. Strong? I dunno. Certainly it contains all the chemicals Sodium-Laryl-Sulphate. Have never touched mouthwash - although my current dermatologist swears I need to start. I really don't see that swirling around a bunch of chemical gunk will do any good.
Sunlight - Not a lot. Work in an office, mainly inside during the weekends. On both occassions EC started, it was (the English) summer. Last time around when I got rid of it, I had two long outdoor holidays. But then again we also had a long spanish holiday this year soon after it flared up...
But you could be onto something. After all reading through this forum, most of us have hypersensitivities through drug intake or have compromised our immune response in some way. Poor absorption of vitamins or a deficiency through lack of intake such as Vit D - could be one of the triggers.
My own personal mission in this outbreak is to get the correct dosage of fats. The more I dig, the more alarming the information I read is. The conclusion I've come to (and am yet to fully implament) is combine a quality cold pressed coconut oil, with cold pressed EV olive oil.
Overdosing on Omega 6 and rancid polyunsaturates (including omega 3) gives an inflammatory response amongst other negative effects. So will be trying
- EV coconut oil, to provide the "beneficial" saturated fats.
- Wild caught Fish + organic eggs to up Omega 3
- Olives and Olive oil as a source of momo-unsaturates
- Limit Omega 6, easier said then done, to avoid the inflammatory response through an excess.
- Avoid rancid polyunsaturates (nuts without the shell, vegetable oils, anything containing vege oils, nut butters, tahini)
