Have been trying out the sitz bath.
It's always great to have a nice hot bath,
but health wise no major improvements as of yet.
I understand it can take a few goes for it to get kicking,
so i'm still trying!
(note: i have regularly several bowel movements daily,
and am raw vegan,
but wanted to try it anywayz!)
or..... most likely..... i'm doing something wrong.
here's what i do:
1 hour bath at around 102degress - to me thats warm.
(i have a really crummy basis thermometer, so it's approx.
i keep an eye on it every 15mins or so,
if the temp drops i empty some water and fill in some
fresh hot water to get back to "around" 102)
oh...yes.... i'm really deep in this, up to my neck!
i put in 2 tablespoon of epsom salts, and 2 drops of
your pure oregano oil when filling the tub.
nice!
ok..... so after 1 hour,
drain all the water.
at this point i am nicley warm, muscles relaxed etc
dont sweat loads, but nicely sweaty.
stick my feet on the wall,
so really only my butt on the bathtub.
then i take the shower head (but i remove the shower head,
so it is just a hose - dont know why,
just though it would be better than a spray),
and slowly pour water out of it around 55degrees
("around" as my thermometer is crappy!).
you'd think this would be COLD, but its not!
water starts at my belly button,
streams down onto privates,
touches butt, and goes down drain.
do this for about 15 minutes.....
and that;s it!
here endeth a lovely bit of bathing!
so do i need some modifications or just keep religiously
trying it?
i've seen your tub in one of the newletters.....
man, that's some piece of hardware!
i would LOVE to have one of those!
but my crummy apartment only has a basic on
(i should be grateful at that,
many just have only a shower these days!)
