You sound like a democrat! We must save ourselves from each other through central planning and military aggression! If Europe and Asia etc. can't learn to become civilized why should we become like them? Leading the world by example is a far better policy then military occupation! Look at Viet Nam it didn't work for the French and it didn't work for us, even after 60,000 American boys dead!
We entered WW1 after Germany had already defeated France and England and the death toll would have been none for us and less for England France and Germany if we stayed out of it!

Look where we are at now, our once feared enemy communist China now owns us ,if we really wanted to control these fascist pigs we should have ignored them and let them wallow in their madness and let them live in complete abject poverty or became like us!
