If Hv doesn't mind me posting this. I have suggested this for many people and have only heard good results. There is an interesting story that goes with the development of the formulation. The down side is that it is expensive for most people.
One problem I do have with it is that I do not see ingredients listed for the products. As I have said in the past when this comes up this is always a big red flag to me. And I never recommend buying and using anything without knowing the ingredients. What if there is something in the formula that you are allergic to? And often when companies hide their ingredients it is because the ingredients are generally cheap and readily available in any health food store.
I agree Hv, I don't like companies to hide their proprietary mixes either but I think in this case it was just hard to find on the website.

I would not even mention this product because the price is high and that is not what people need these days but I only post it because I feel like it has helped many people I know. It started off with a few family members that I was desperately wanting to help. I would buy it for them and let them try it and they realized it made a big difference. Later I started buying it for friends to try.
Perhaps you can figure out why it helps and come up with an equivalent that is cheaper.
Looking at the ingredients it is primarily just a synthetic vitamin supplement. I do not see anything real special about it and I am quite surprised that they added nickel. Nickel allergies are quite common.
ive been taking TMG 3x 1gram a day, 3/4 times a teaspoon of SGG, 2x 300mg magnesium malate, 2x 30mg zinc gluconate and 2000IU vitamin D a day for awhile now
ive noticed positive effects, especially from SGG and a little bit from magnesium malate (better stress handling, less muscle tension etcetera). i also have less allergic response to animals, but not sure what supplement is responsible for that.
The Super Ginkgo Green has various adaptogens that support the adrenals, which allows us to deal with stress and reduces allergic responses. Several of the herbs in the SGG are also natural antihistamines.
now im starting on a low dose of seroquel (50mg a day). would TMG or magnesium malate or zinc or vitamin D interfere with that in any way?
Theoretically the Seroquel may interact with the TMG and SGG. Seroquel interacts with NUMEROUS medications including L-dopa, the precursor for dopamine, and steroids like Prednisone. TMG can increase dopamine as can supporting the adrenals. And the SGG contains a small amount of licorice root, which is very similar to Prednisone.
What about Tardive dyskinesia? possibility combination of SGG herbs and seroquel triggers this? just theorizing.
Tardive dyskinesia is a know side effect of Seroquel on its own, and it can be permanent in some cases.
since seroquel is handled by the liver as far as i know. for example grapefruit shouldnt be taken with certain medications because it inhibits two enzymes which are responsible for breaking down medication.
any herbs in SGG that do the same thing as grapefruit juice and i shouldnt be taking? i am asking because i seem to get quite drowsy even when taking the seroquel and SGG apart from eachother. its only 50mg's of seroquel (extended release version) but the combination of those two in the blood seems to make me drowsy. maybe it is just the "getting used to medication phase" though and it is nothing to worry about.
Actually the only herb I can think of in their that has any effect on drug metabolism is milk thistle seed. But this can speed up the metabolism of some drugs.
also, there is the question of "uppers and downers". im assuming SGG is stimulating to the central nervous system. is it advisable taking "uppers" like anything stimulatory in a situation where my mind is already overly excited because of stress factors or should i focus solely on "downers"?
There are no central nervous system stimulants in the Super Ginkgo Green. The energy boost is from the high level of naturally occurring B vitamins. Although there are some herbs calming to the nervous system as well such as gotu kola and oatgrass.
PS: i have transferred the money through paypal to your herbassist adress for the 3 SGG's.
Thanks, I saw the e-mail. Those will go out in a few days.
by the way anyone silently criticizing me for choosing seroquel, ive simply tried everything natural. im a big proponent of natural health treatments/herbs/lifestyle but life stressors can be much bigger than is natural for the body to handle, so sometimes you simply need something more drastic
