So I went for my root canal today, post cast has to be taken out and temp crown put in place.

2 options now available:

new post and crown - but since the root is weak - chance that it may split again.
look at the possibility of an implant - but have potential of it not looking great due to gum recession.

Any advice?

Dentist did say that if the crown and post failed within 5 years I would have money credited toward an implant.

Honestly after sitting in the dental chair for nearly 3 hours today, I feel drained!

IS it ok to oil pull with a temp crown?

I hope oil pulling helps prevent future horror visits like this!
