^^30 second YT vid of an adult [full grown] flatworm
OUTSIDE of its host.
note that the
Tapeworm is a FLATworm..
it is white in color
every segment of the
Tapeworm is in full length
contact with the segment ahead of it..
they fit together something like roofing shingles..
all more or less the same rectangular shape..each
"shingle" in full contact with the one that came before..
and all essentially flat..with just enough expansion room
for the eggs it carries.
they do not chain together like beads on a string
[in addition to not looking like beads]
the flatworm segments do not look like sausages or join
together at one small point like sausage links.
the pork flatworm in the video is very large..but the younger
ones look exactly the same..except on a smaller scale.
...a mouth section..followed by endlessly repeating connected sections
