Trick X Master
Hey EtMTL! Yeah, I do think we are very similar. I saw huge improvement with Lam, but I would do one stupid thing and I would crash back down, and it would take me a full two weeks to get back to where I was before. With your work schedule and being active I think it will be tough, but it may work. High amounts of vitamin C have a way of altering the hpa axis but I do not really understand it. I have tried to research vitamin C but I can't find much, but I saw huge improvements because I was VERY bad off before doing Lam. I am much better now but nothing close to normal, eating a big sugary meal gives me a racing heart and palpitations still. I wish you the best of luck with Lam, Klauss has seen huge improvements.
That is unfortunate you were prescribed benzos. They work on GABA receptors and don't actually fix the problem. I used taurine (acts on gaba) for months and I was able to be more active and stuff but eventually I started to get really weird brain fog and felt super depressed. I think benzos are very depressing.
I have been on celexa 2.5mg for one week now. I still take 1 scoop quantum C and 1 tsp liponano C every day.
My story is that I used celexa 2 years ago when I was told I had an "anxiety disorder". I felt slightly better as time progressed anxiety wise, but Depression
got sometimes worse, and then all of a sudden at week 12 on celexa I felt like my old self. I stayed on it for 3 more weeks. After I quit celexa I went to Italy and had a great time and tried marijuana for the first time and laughed a lot. I drank wine like every other night. I felt great for about 3 months off of celexa. However, I started to play poker online full time, which of course is the main cause of my illness. I got back into adrenal fatigue because I probably only fixed myself back to stage 2A or something with celexa. I tried marijuana again when I started to get my adrenal fatigue symptoms again and I had weird reaction like an extremely tingly head so bad it hurt, I have kind of realized my brain chemistry is extremely different than normally. For the last year I have been searching for alternatives to antidepressants. It has been a positive experience for me (hopefully if I return to 100%) because I finally realized how stressful my life is and how I needed to do things like meditate and stay off the computer and not care about trying to be a millionaire or try to date prissy girls I don't even like because they are attractive. I plan on using celexa to get back to feeling good again, and I will probably be in stage 2. Then I will use herbs and stuff to get 100%. I may go back to Lam at that point as well. I haven't really been worried about that, right now I just want to live life and slowly up my dose of celexa from 2.5mg to 20mg, going 2.5mg up per week. I don't like being on this drug (before you feel great on it you may have increased anxiety or worsening depression, NOT fun) but through all the research I have done on hpa hypoactivity (google that please, people) it can really help me out.
