Happy Labour Day!:)
I was just wondering what the stats are on heating pads...like the electric ones? I'm trying to see how I can make castor oil packs more effective and easier to do. I have been using magic bags (those filled with grain that you heat up in the microwave) and a hot water bottle as my supplies the last couple months. They are ok for short term, but they don't stay hot for very long, I think maybe one hour max, especially now that the days/nights are getting cooler.
What does everyone here use? What do y'all think of electric heating pads? Are they safe, especially to use all night long? I gotta wrap my legs (left mostly) and liver/abdomen/back area. Can I wrap a heating pad around my torso or leg and then go to sleep all night with it on?
I'd love to do full body pack one day! Oh boy, that would be messy, but also tremendously effective and healing!
Thanks so much,
ps...I don't know about everyone else, but pretty much all of my 'houseclothes' and towels, sheets etc, have officially become, for some time now, and in one way or another- 'IP casualties'. LOL! I'm not 'technically' on the IP, but doing as much of it as I can, as I gear up for the real thing- and boy oh boy- I got coffee stains here, charcoal spots there- castor oil, juice and herb stains everywhere! I don't mind it at all, in fact, its all a victory for me, like I'm actually DOING things to help myself- it REALLY makes you realize how little material things matter- clothes, sheets, objects etc. Everything is replaceable. And nothing is more valuable that your health!
Plus, one day, it'll be an AMAZING reason to go shopping again, and TRULY start over and fresh...once This butterfly emerges from her cocoon:)
