I am 29 and was just diagnosed with hypothyroidism. My doctor wants to put me on a low dose of thyroid hormone. I really would like to cure myself naturally and only use the synthetic hormone once exhausting all other options. However, I have a one year old and I just can't devote the time I need to figure out how to help myself.
Anybody that can point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Here is a little info about my condition:
I have never had a normal period...only have 3 or 4 periods a year..this has been the case my whole life. I played soccer my whole life so all the doctors blamed the skipped periods on that.
