Day 12! you are doing great! try not to think about the numbers on the scale, even though 10 lbs in 12 days is more than you would ever lose on a traditional diet/fitness plan!
and when it is that time of the month for me, it doesn't matter what i eat or don't eat-the scale never budges-i especially try to avoid sodium, fat and sugar, but i can't ever seem to lose any wt then and usually the number goes up for a few days even if i don't change what i'm eating at all day to day.. your body is probably just naturally retaining water-I'm sure your wt will drop down a few days after..
i actually do eat a high carb diet when not fasting (but it is almost completely good for you carbs-fruits and veg-probably consist of at least 80% of my diet)
i think the best way to end white-carb(bread/sugar)addiction is to avoid it all together- it you cut it out completely you will probably stop craving it.. I rarely touch bread/bread product-maybe have one serving once every few months-i don't really ever crave it-if a craving ever comes to me for pizza-i try to have something with tomatoes in it-this is usually what my body is wanting and it satisfies it all together.. one of my favorites is spaghetti squash with home made marinara sauce on it.. it is a really healthy substitute for pasta-it takes on the flavor of the sauce.. hope all this helps and keep up the good work! :)
