I started on the 25th June with a 5 day fast then I had 11 days off (ate what I wanted), fasted for 14 days (longest fast I have done) and ate for 2 fasted for 2 and ate for 2, fasted for 4 and ate for 3, fasted for 3 ate for 4, fasted for 5 days ate for 1 and now I am fasting and I am on day 3
I go as long as I can before I am tempted by food and can't help myself. When I eat now - I eat to satisfy my hunger and try to be healthy but that hasn't always been the case.
I see it as .....if I eat today I can always fast again tomorrow.
It works for me as it works round my schedules with family and it will continue to work when I go back to work - I teach in a primary school
I know that I have fasted in total 34 days and if I had stuck to a 34 day fast I would have lost 34lbs as it averages out in the end to 1lb a day. But I just didn't have the will power to do it that way - so I am happy with 24lbs weightloss.
I look toned and my face looks fresh - so this has benefited me rather than made me ill. I genuinely don't feel as hungry as before but that must be due to my tummy shrinking??? No idea.
I will continue this until Christmas....so I will be on here for a while.
