Hey CZ'ers,need urgent advice,
dad had heart attack few weeks ago and is getting weaker.
background is had intermittent a.f. 2 yrs. ago,briefly on amiodarone,reverted to natural methods with hawthorn,cayenne capsules,taurine,was energetic and strong until flu in feb.,had pulse of 160 and fluid on lung,resolved until 1 month ago when had intermittent racing pulse,atrial fibrillation and fluidon lung,went to hospital where pulse was stabilised,antibioticgiven but not continued,and was kept in over weekend although expected to be discharged.became anxious and restless,was injected with haloperidol,and had heart attack.
was discharged with ace inhibitor tritace,plavix and aspirin,beta blocker cardicor,burinex diuretic,amiodarone.seemed to be rallying well,then went into urine retention,went back for catheter,hosp.wouldn't admit any connection to m.i. but said prostate was enlarged.was also given digitalis as pulse was sometimes up to 120.took home against advice.herbalist suggested hawthorn would be safer than amiodarone or digitalis,but is now weaker,with oedema of legs despite 2mg. burinex,pains in legs and abdomen,sometimes breathless,occasional chest discomfort.giving Colloidal Silver ,vit. c,serrapeptase,coq10,and organic silica.
also taking a prescribed constipation remedy called movicol containing sodium chloride,sodium bicarbonate,potassium chloride.
given time we could help the atrial fib,reverse the right bundle branch block on e.k.g. and dissolve any plaques but need urgent advice,this drug mix is contraindicated in an elderly person who normally had slow pulse and low blood pressure.hard even to know what to supplement with,eg. ace inhibitors raise potassium but diuretics lower it.and why lower the pulse vitality with abeta blocker,when fluid is building ......would ubiquinol help....
