Quitting smoking and hopefully some reduced
Arthritis pain. I am 23 years old and have been smoking cigarettes with dedication since I was 12. I feel that if I can put my mind to this, while staying off cigarettes, I may be better able to "keep the quit"-as I am a professional quitter- because of the time and effort I've invested into it.
I also researched that fasting accelrates withdrawl, so I hope to be over nicotine sooner.
I also have constant, bearable pain in my hands, but it has definitly gotten worse over the last few years and hope that my
Water Fast will help that.
Besides that, losing a few
pounds never hurts and I've heard rumors that my peanut allergy(more like intolerance-not anaphylactic) may go away.
I am aiming for 21 days and the tough part is that the longest I've gone before was 8 days when I tried transitioning to vegatarianism(didn't work).
More fun is that I work and manage a late night bar/grill where people smoke, drink, and eat. I happen to be the head-cook/KM as it were and not only have to cook food, I have to taste stuff too(and then wash my mouth out).
I am at about 40 hours. Wish me luck.
