Yes, the aloe is not an issue. It would be if there was an autoimmune disorder, but diverticulitis is not autoimmune. It is a loss of elastin in the diverticuli causing them to balloon out. Bacteria and small hard particles get in to the little pouches formed increasing bacteria and inflammation.
Natural vitamin C sources can help. But nothing with little seeds like kiwi. Papaya, watercress and acerola are all good choices.
Silica is also very important for the elastin formation. Using the diatomaceous earth in water is the best.
Two other things I would recommend are gotu kola and the amino acid glycine to help promote the elastin formation.
