Hey everyone, hope you are well.. I feel pretty good, but haven't been able to stick to some refeeding goals as well as I've liked to. Here is what I've been putting into my body after my 10 day fast.
Broke fast at night
2 pints half and half OJ and water each pint taken an hour apart (only finished half of second pint)
Day 1
Breakfast: (1/2 cucumber, handful spinach, 1 inch piece ginger, handful cilantro, 1 apple) all juiced
Lunch: 1 pint watermelon juice
Lunch + 1 hr: (2 carrots, 1 apple, 2 stalks celery, 1/2 cucumber, 1/4 lime) all juiced
Dinner: 1 pint watermelon juice + 1 orange
Day 2
Breakfast: same as Day 1 except handful of parsley instead of cilantro in the juice.. also ate 1/2 inch thick hand sized slice watermelon
Lunch: 1 whole orange + 2 bowls of homemade vegetable broth
Lunch + 1 hr: 1/2 cucumber chopped + 2 roma tomatoes chopped and mixed into a salad
Dinner: 2 bowls homemade vegetable broth + (1/2 cucumber, 2 stalks celery, handful spinach, 1 apple) juiced
Day 3
Breakfast: 1 large grapefruit juiced
Lunch: 1/2 inch thick hand sized slice of watermelon + 1 bowl homemade vegetable broth
So thats it.. some other things to report.. I went out for a light jog last night and felt pretty good. My legs and body were/are still feeling a little weak, which I understand since I haven't had any real exercise in about 2 weeks. One thing I did notice was my breathing at improved ALOT. While my lungs can't be completely healed from all those years of smoking, they are much better than before. I remember always having a slow start when I would run before the fast, but last night I was out of the gates quick and took breaks more from muscle fatigue in my legs than because of my breath.. it used to be the other way around. Hopefully my leg muscles will be back soon, but I'm just so happy to be able to breath the way I am. I guess I didn't really notice it or even really thought about breathing better during this whole time till last night. Covered a total of 3 miles with three 1 minute breaks walking and also walking the last 1/4 mile.
I noticed also, that I still have a good deal of spit and was wondering how long that might last. This is especially in the morning.
My eyes are still bloodshot or still get bloodshot for some reason too. They clear up at times, but then I'll notice them turning slightly red/pink again. What do you think of eyedrops?
I was also wondering if/when it would be ok for me to eat avocados? I've been really wanting to make an avocado,tomato, and cucumber salad...
