It might be from trying to remove Mirena-an infection could start during insertion so I dont see why one couldnt start during removal.
But also seems to be some sicknesses going around lately, I know around my circle there has been diarrhea, fevers, etc the last few days.
So maybe its just a bug but if your truly worried please go get checked out.
