I've read that is it with adrenal fatigue. Otherwise drinking water will dilute your sodium and your adrenal glands will try to make more Aldosterone to retain sodium, which tires your adrenals.
Just go slow and pay attention to your body's signals. I started trying to do this and started getting muscle spasms in the lower center chest region. Pretty freaky. I backed off the salt and added magnesium for a few days and it stopped.
