Didn't Jesus tell the Prostitute who the elders of the City were going to stone to death to go and Sin no more after all the elders went away after Jesus asked the one who hadn't slept with her to throw the 1st stone.
Oh, maybe I dressed it up a little about them sleeping with her, but maybe you get the point?
So how can some Catholics think they are real Christians when they go confess their sins, then go right back and Sin again by doing the same thing wrong?
What about other supposed so-called Christians?
Ya know anyone who votes for any public official who supports Abortion(Murder) of Unborn babies.
Or anyone who has an Abortion and sees nothing wrong with it.
Or anyone who claims they have Love in their hearts, yet see Absolutely nothing wrong with Abortion, the Murder of Unborn babies.
I can understand where a person denies their Creator, how they may think this way about their so-called Love.
But those who claim to be Christians, How can this be?

Do you believe 'you' are a 'real' christian?
Do you believe that you have the right to judge others lives, sins etc, (isn't that supposed to be left to god)?
Do you believe your interpretations of the bible, are the only correct interpretations, or are they correct only for you?

To those who have Rejected their Creator, Love appears to be that Touchy feely thing called Passion or may we say self satisfaction. Just a Physical self desire without regard for the other persons needs.
To those who believe in their Creator and have concern for their fellow mankind, Love is something else. This kind of Love is not the stated above kind of Love.
But a Deeper kind that has concern for fellow man and those less able to help themself. Like unborn babies.
Yes, True Love is having concern for Unborn babies and viewing Abortion as a Great Evil. Even to the point of refusing to vote for any public official who supports Abortions(Murder).
Even to the point of considering anyone who thinks women have the right to Murder their Unborn babies are Deceived Greatly by this Evil.
For How can anyone think it is ok to Murder helpless unborn Babies?
Where is there any True Love in these people Hearts?

How do you feel about war?
Also how do you feel about the taking of an animal's life to sustain your own?
How do you feel that the creator (in your belief system) set it up this way.
For instance women could lay eggs and then concerned christians could hatch them ensuring the safe ushering in of new life to experience all of the other fun god allows such as starvation, cancer, pain and suffering (in your model god allows all this and more in "his" loving ways). Abortions is just one of many things a great creator could easily intervene with and set up if it was at all concerned it. Perhaps your creator either doesn't care or doesn't exist or enjoys the suffering or is powerless. According to your story book (the bible) this god intervened in the past. Just lost interest?
Any other options?

Perhaps you have a better word in mind that will allow the discussion to move forward unless your intention is to avoid these issues?

I believe in Protecting ones own Loved ones from Evil people who may choose to do my Family any harm.
This would include shooting anyone who may decide to break into my house. I would shoot to kill!
There are no trespass signs on the property, so everyone is forewarned that it is Private Property.
I believe in Private Property Rights.

So you do not believe in the commandment, thou shalt not kill? There are many ways of protecting your property and family without killing.

This is a reply to # 1,607,952This is quite an if and goes beyond what most people interpret as their reality. How is it some people can go deep into danger on a daily basis and be okay yet others are accident prone. Is it possible there is some inner scriipt going on that creates these tendencies?
perhaps there is a level beyond what shows up on the stage of life where these things can be "healed," altered and created in certain ways. I find victims tend to create the circumstances that give them the experience that aligns with their script.
I believe the story of Job speaks to this very clearly. For me this story comes down to the notion that what every you fear the most will visit you. ;-)
What are your thoughts on this.

Your giving a specific instance here, a hypothetical one. I have no idea how I would react in the situation you propose, as I have never faced this situation.
What I do know, is that I do whatever preventative measures I am able to do, to stop this situation from occuring.

Now let us say 20 Gang members with Axes and matchettes attacked you and your Loved one and started chopping and killing you and your friend or Family?

This is a reply to # 1,607,983Wrong monkeytime, I don't do hypotheticals, so I'm not interested in the one you are proposing. As I said before, I don't know how I would react in a situation that I have not experienced.
I have however had a person break into my house, with the intention of theft, I called the police, they caught the person involved, and he was prosecuted and sentenced for his crime.

This is not what scientists say, what they say is we do not use all of our brain all the time, if we did we would end up having a grand mal fit. We do however use different parts of our brains for different emotions, thoughts and actions, but we do use all of it.
"Why do people grow old and die ?
Scientists say we die from malnutrition."
Scientists believe that we grow old and die because of damage to our DNA over our life span. Our cells are programed to die and new cells grow to replace them, aging is from the cells dying and either the DNA is degraded and faulty cells are produced or new cells do not form.
The bible is a story made up by human beings, a fiction.

You really need to learn what a hypothetical question is monkeytime.
The quotes you provided were answers to statements made by another poster, not hypothetical questions about hypothetical situations.
"Scientists say that we only use a very small amount of our brain. Think about that."
To be a hypothetical question, first this statement would have to 'be' a question. Second this statement would have to contain such elements as, "what if", "lets suppose", etc.
