One thing you didn't mention is your water intake. It's recommended that you drink half your body weight in ounces of water per day, or in your case, a minimum of 3 quarts. It's also recommended that for each quart you use 1/4 teaspoon good salt. Depending on how much salt you're using for the salt flushes, and how much water as well, your body could be holding onto water to try to dilute your body's sodium load. I also use some potassium chloride, since using salt alone causes me to retain water, although I've gotten the idea not everybody has this problem. It's something to consider.
