Yes, I lost a little over 30lbs doing a juice fast. I only gained back 5lbs when I went back to eating. I was eating healthy and exercising- I felt amazing! Then I fell off that wagon while going to school and gained all 30lbs back plus some!!!
I drank about 1 liter of juice a day. I made it the night before and it was just a hodge podge of fruit and veggies. Mostly fruits. Watermelon, cantelope and apples are good for quantity of juice. I love the flavor of nectarine, grape, strawberry and cherry in the juice, although it takes a lot of them to get juice. I drank a TON of water throughout too (obviously). I started drinking vegetable broth the last week or so when I was completely sick of the juice. That helped and made me feel like I ate least had soup or something.
I was planning on starting to prep my body for a fast next week- I want to eat mostly raw fruits and veggies and hopefully the fiber will help clean my colon a bit before I start the juicing. I will start juice fasting on 3/29.
