I know what you're saying about getting the "stones" to do a CE. I had a mental blockage for a long time that I couldn't/wouldn't get over.
Once I did my first CE I couldn't believe how stupid I had been, being afraid to do it. There is nothing to it, doesn't hurt at all and you won't believe how great you'll feel once you finally do the first one!
You really don't have to bend much at all, just lay on your left side and kinda bend your legs a little forward, that's what I do. After I had done a few I read somewhere that you're supposed to bend your legs/knees up toward your chest. I hadn't been doing that so I asked Uny and she said that you need to do it however you feel comfortable and once you get used to it then you can move around and experiment with different ways to shift your body to be able to hear what's going on with the stethoscope.
I'm telling you, once you do the first one and see how GREAT you feel you'll wanna do one everyday, especially if you're in pain because a CE WILL help with pain! Since your liver is so congested, after you do the first 2 or 3 CEs be sure and check the commode after you expel it because you might pass some stones and you'll for sure want to know about that.
