I really think, like others here, that
Depression is connected with liver congestion and general liver problems. In fact, I think that
Depression usually does not occur by itself but is the mind's red flag that tells you there is an illness in the body. The mind-body thing is a lot more linked than I thought.
Anyway, hopinso had some great advice. I really think that supplements to support the liver make a huge difference - for me they do. Here are a couple of things that help:
Liquid vitamin B - Sublingual - improves liver function and gives you a emotional boost.
SAM E (S-Adenosyl Methonine) - improve mood and really helps the liver to purge toxins.
Milk thistle - protects and supports liver cells to do their job, helps repair damage.
Glutathione - a naturally occur compound in the liver that is involved with cleaning and protecting liver cells.
Liver Aid (or some such) with Inositol and Cysteine - increase intrahepatic glutathione.
Glutamine - increases glutathione and really improves your mood.
Fish oil - improves HDL - that helps mood.
Fiber - binds up bad fatty acids in the gut and helps excrete them.
Exercise - the best natural mood enhancer I have ever known.
Liver Flush- Critical in moving the stones in your liver, which are likely to be a major cause of you troubles to begin with.
Depression is a body issue even more than a mind issue sometimes. If you makes some positive changes you'll see some improvement.
Good luck.
