"I try to just keep my mouth shut but then I feel like I'm not helping my friends."
I have felt this very same way.
******
So do I. My friends and family all know that I'm into herbs, fasting, and getting healthier. They know that I'll be happy to help them if they ask.
I don't want them to feel like they'll get caught up in a long "lecture" from me, so I try to keep it short if I do mention to them that there is an alternative.
The challenge is to then KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT unless they ask for more info.
Another thing that I do is to send them links to MH website and Book 1, etc. - but only if they ask for the info.
I also tell people - hey, I'm learning, I don't have all answers, all I can tell you is what I'm doing, what has helped, what hasn't, etc.
It always goes back to trying to follow God's plan for my life. It's easy to get distracted from my plan for my own healing. If I get better, I'm in a better position to help others. If I'm meant to help, it will happen. In fact, a few people have already started coming to me and asking for advice about healing and weight loss. That's because they've seen such an improvement in me - lost 20 lbs, more energy, more positive and optimistic, etc., and they're "blown away" that I had the discipline to do the 21-day orange juice fast and deal with the dental issues. Other than that, we have to watch as they suffer, just as I/we suffer when we turn away from truth and nature.
I try to keep in mind - as MH says, God is in control of all. Just as I was led to find this forum, which is truly a needle in a haystack, so can anyone find the help they need - if they obey nature, seek truth, and follow God's plan for their life. Just my humble opinion ...
