Hi:
I think this is something Doc came up with that might apply to the ones who weren't too bad off to start. The "average" ones. I didn't follow it exactly, as there are no hard and fast rules for anyone to follow exactly all thru this program. It all depends on the individual's condition when they start. How infested with bugs are you?????
That goes for how many and also when you need to do the liver flushes, too.
What I did was 4 TABLESPOONS a day for about 2-3 months. I went thru 2 bottles of Barefoot's dewormer a month for about 3 months. That wasn't a hard and fast rule, either, because, on the full moon I hit the bugs every time with a double dose of dewormer. That's when they were the most active. Some days I would back off to 2 TBSP a day. I dumped about 14# of parasites. Some don't have that many. You'll get an intuitive feeling of where you're at a while after starting the dewormer. I followed my gut feelings with it.
My rule about what worked for me is somewhat different from Doc's. I stayed on the 2 TABLESPOONS a day of the dewormer until I didn't see any more visible bugs come out, and hit them hard on the full moon every month with a double dose. Even that wasn't exact, because after a year and a half, after not seeing any for a couple of months, and being on maintenance dosage, I saw some more bugs come out because some stones in my liver moved, and there were bug eggs behind the stones. So I went back to the 2 TBSP a day for a while. I used additional things for dewormers, too, like the clove and oregano and neem oil in Capsules, that I added to Barefoot's.
The dewormer is giving your body what it needs to get rid of the bugs. It won't hurt you. Follow Doc's 2, 2, 2 rule and adjust it according to your own needs.
