its the show i love to hate. i love hugh laurie. unfortunately the mind control operation for the oligarchs that this show is makes me see him as just another whore, albeit a very good one!

point is i stopped and watched an episode last night. it was an incredible piece of social engineering. and i thought law and order SVU was bad! it worked on several subjects from different angles. one of these was that house was taken by the cia to diagnose one of their operatives they had gurnied and holed up in the basement at langley. it ended up (spoiler) that the man had not been in bolivia eating chestnuts as he was told by an agent, he was in brazil and had eaten a ton of brazil nuts. the man was gruesome looking with his skin sloughing off and his hair coming out. it was selenium poisoning. i instantly thought of V and his notion that people dont have to be careful with brazil nuts.

who writes these scripts, anyway? they truly are trying to keep people as uninformed and misinformed as possible, arent they?
