I purchased a zapper from toolsforhealing. I figured it must have been damaged during delivery, and the instruction paper said it has a 5 year warranty, so I called the number and received a very rude response from Arthur himself.
So I opened it up instead and was SHOCKED. The pieces had been "glued" together with a glue gun, but not very well. The manufacturer had attempted to keep the parts in place, stuck to the plastic. But it was obviously not strong enough (no surprise) and parts had come completely loose. It looks like it was built by a ten year old.
I am very disappointed and angry. I had read someone else say that he has excellent service. Perhaps today was a bad day for him. But that is no excuse for his rude response. I also can't believe how cheaply built this thing is.
The only good thing that has come out of it is that it has motivated me to learn how to solder and fix the damn thing.
I am also angry that I am stuck getting crappy support from this man when ToolsForHealing.com was the website where I bought it in the first place. If you buy from that online store make sure you check who the manufacturer of your item is. If its something like SOTA you're probably okay but you might as well just buy it from their website instead. Toolsforhealing is stingy when it comes to returns.
