I succesfully did a ten day
Water Fast in the beginning of December... by the end of ten days I felt soo much better!! My morning headaches stopped and my aches were almost non-existant. But... now I am dealing with the same things yet again! I wake every morning with a pounding, sick to my stomach headache, not good. My question is, would a longer fast have been more beneficial? I felt at ten days that I could easily keep going, I was not hungry for food and had no desire for it either... but I gave in to the pressure from others that said, you need nourishment, fasting is not good...
I am a 36 year old female at 5'7" and 198lbs... I would love the added benefit of losing weight but my main concern is to feel better overall. I know losing weight can do that. In the past I've done a few 15 and 30 day water only fasts but might I need to go even longer than that? As I have said in previous posts, I also have mild facial droop from Lymes disease... been over a year dealing with that and did the
Antibiotic therapy... of course all the doc says is, it will get better over time... The last fast greatly improved my need for a rescue inhalor, still, but my
Arthritis seems to have returned. I'm thinking maybe my non fasting diet is to blame??
I have not eaten pork or beef for over 20 years... But do eat white carbs (pasta and bread) not good I know... I mostly eat fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds... Yet have a high weight... At the end of all my fasts I craved fruits and veggies for quite some time yet the cravings for the carbs always seems to return... any thoughts on that?
I am doing another fast and will try so hard not to let others tell me it's not healthy... because I know it is!! sloshy2
