Juice fasting is FANTASTIC for candida but fruit and beets will feed candida = too much sugar
Some say carrot too is too high in glycemic index, but I would use it, followed by a full glass of water or better, blended with Celery
or cabbage juice (both are awful on their own but quite good with carrots in the mix).
Liquid assimilates better, veggies are full of minerals, carotene (carrots) and anti-inflamatory (celry) Go for it .... but avoid apples and beets.
P & B shakes are also a good idea. The first day you must make sure you take some senne (or laxative tea) to avoid constipation. With the juice fast it should go easy but you wanna be on the safe side.
THe psyllium will drag candida AND friendly bacteria out, so a probiotic supplement is also a good idea.
I have had great results with juice fasting along with the shakes. ALl the best to you.
