"what does everyone think of this site?"
Not much. I've done some experimenting with various breatharian theories. I disagree both with Brooks' dietary advice, and his conclusions on how he arrived at it. If you want better information, you should try to talk to a man named Joachim Werdin. His research into diet is much more extensive than Brooks, IMHO.
Most people who have claimed to succeed in breatharianism (and not killed themselves in the process) seemed to either have been fruitarian beforehand, or they have extensive knowledge and practice with fasting. You should probably try one of those methods if you are really interested. IMHO, drinking diet coke and chanting "magic words" will more likely land you in a hospital than in a higher state of being. If eating double cheeseburgers made you a mystic, then everyone in the United States would be enlightened. (think about it for a minute)
Unless you are the pinnacle of health and motivation, breatharianism will take a lot of time and effort. Don't get sucked in to anyone claiming some magickal methods to turn you into a superhuman.
