The Progessive Labs orthophosphoric acid doesn't have the choline bitartrate in it. It's got the niacinamide and inositol--B vitamins. Said to increase seratonin levels.
The choline bitartrate is in the Ultraphos and helps the liver to export fat and prevents it from accumulating surplus cholesterol and fats. It's considered a lipotropic. It supports the overall health of the liver. Works with the central nervous system to boost nerve impulse transmissions, cell communicatons and control muscle functionings. Helps to produce the nerurotransmitter acetylcholine which impacts things like appetite behavior, memory and mood.
Helps to protect the liver and decreases the risk of degenerative kidney disease and cirrhosis. Prevents conditions like Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's Disease and tardive dyskinesia. Few, general facts I got off a website. The body does make some of it. I don't know if the amount in the Ultraphos is very significant.
Don't really know if it makes any difference or not what product you use to allow the bile duct to relax.
Guess Doc's going to have to have to explain this further for you.
