Many of us are having side effects that are not listed. Even if the symptoms were listed, this does not make the symptoms any better. We are only here to support each other. What you are doing is the equivilent of telling vehicle accident victims "I told you so". Not everyone gets into accidents, but when you do, the injury is real. You are being callous and it is not appreciated. Best of luck with your mirena. I hope that it does not affect you as it has affected many of us.
I understand what you are saying. At the same time, however, I feel that even if we were informed, that does not mean we don't have a right to support each other through the symptoms. There is a difference between complaining and looking for support. We all take risks in life, but we don't always think we will get them. It's human nature to think you are invincible to a certain extent. Otherwise we would all cower in our homes. I am sure you thought this too, since you chose to have the mirena as well.
One thing that the documents nor the doctors discuss is that the symptoms last well beyond the removal of mirena. Some people here have had lasting effects. If some of us did have a negative reaction to the silicone that may have ended up in our bloodstreams, there is no way to detox from that. There have been very little testing done on the long term effects of many of these drugs and drug components.
