In response to the following in my previous post:
>>"NOTE: Limewater is clear... milk of lime is when you shake the jar and have the solids suspended in solution.
You dose based on your needs... these days I most often use the limewater... and on occasion, if I feel it is needed will use milk of lime. I do ALWAYS adjust the drink to my tastes."<<
As I imply, you MUST learn to feel your INDIVIDUAL need from day to day, week to week, month to month... if you feel you need a bit more, you can use more limewater, OR, dose higher with the milk of lime... of course adjusting to taste is still a must... what this means is that the more limewater, or stronger milk of lime will require more lemon or apple cider vinegar too. Always adjust to taste - they should cancel each other out and not be too bitter/tart or too chalky tasting.
As an additional note... you may mix it to how you like it and it may taste off to me... that is because my body may need more or less of one thing or another than yours and taste is VERY important IMO.
Also, common sense... if what you are doing is working well for you, do not try to do more, unless you feel the need during a cold front, full moon, etc... more is not always better. You may even find that it works better sipped or drunk, different times of the day... I prefer mine over the course of the afternoon most often.
I rarely take much more than 4 tablespoonfuls daily anymore, HOWEVER, I may use the milk of lime for added umph if I feel the need.
Another adjustment to individual need is the kelp... depending on what variety you are using. I take up to a tablespoonful a day in the winter... in the summer that is too much for me and I drop back to about a rounded teaspoonful, however I do also use dulse for food preparation year round.
