MoreI am currently on day 17. Everything seemed to be going well and then my period came yesterday. As a teen I had a terrible time with my periods, cramps were sooooo bad. Then I went on the pill and the last 11 years they have been a breeze. No cramps, bleeding for 1/2 day, so easy. Now yesterday, it started and I was doubled over in pain all day, used a hot water bottle all day, all night and all day again today.
Has anyone else on the pill experienced this? Or was there something wrong down there and I didn't even know it?- Re: for the experienced women clairebear

Dude, I so totally know what you are talking about. I'm on day 22 today, but dealt with my period in the first ten days. I have never suffered cramps, and am not on the pill, but the cramps this time around were absolutely killer. I don't know if it was from having babies a little while ago, or what. Anyways, I found my period was only half as long as usual, so hopefully that will ahppen for you too. All I can say is I hope that the next time around, when I'll be around day 35 or so, I won't have the same experience. Yikes, I don't know how people deal with that every month!!!!!

i just started the mc 5 days ago and i got my flow yesterday. i normally dont get pains or cramps, but i was really irritated yesterday and craved a hot water bottle on my tummy (dont have one). i was also crampy, all day i did not know if it was a bm pain, or if it was a cramp.
today im feeling week. my flows regularily are not heavy. since i have been on the pill (5 months- which has been regulating my periods)the flow only lasts 3 days- and are light.
i drink organic peppermint tea to sooth tummy, i just read from a post that cayanne pepper does the trick.
