For over a decade I've been trying to lose weight, to no avail. I got a dx of adrenal fatigue a few years ago, and low T3 levels this year, which explain why weight loss has been impossible.
I took Iodoral for a month, and haven't taken it for about a month now. I stopped because my urine had turned clear and reeked of ammonia. Worried that I was damaging my kidneys, I've been doing SWFes in the mornings, and this has brought back some yellowness to the urine (and also reduced pebble pooping). If I don't do a SWF, the urine goes back to clear.
I got on the scale this morning. I am 15 pounds
lighter than before I started the iodine.
While normally I would be jumping for joy, it seems odd considering how much I struggled with weight loss in light of the adrenal/thyroid deficiencies, and if the clear urine is a result of cellular dehydration indicating diabetes, then I'm not sure I should be celebrating.
I will be making an appointment with a MD soon but I'd like some feedback on what I'm perceiving as a rather sudden loss of weight. Thoughts?
