Hello, I am new to the board but not new to Iodine
therapy. I apologize for my questions, I have been reading now sometime and the information found here is unbelievable.
I am a fit 45 year old male. I first began to research Iodine
about one year ago. Like most here I read dr. Brownsteins book and found all of the other information, ipods, videos, etc.
I began with Iodoral caplets and took 12.5 mg daily for a couple of months. When they ran out I then switched to painting my wrists once per day with Betadine Topical Povidone Iodine
10% (1% available iodine). This is found over the counter at our local grocery store.
A few months ago, I purchased ten bottles of 7% and ten bottles of 15% Lugols, Potassium Iodine, Iodide
I will be the first to confess that I only knew I wanted Iodine in my system. I am not sure of the different kinds of iodine, and how much you get per drop.
I have been taking all of the supporting supplements, minerals, celtic salts, and vitamins.
Like many on the board I felt a fog lift from me. Even though I am/was already fit, I found I no longer needed coffee, I felt like getting up earlier in the morning, I have great ideas coming to me all day, I require less sleep, my face glows with life and, well I could go on.
In recent weeks, I have been pushing out bromine through my buttocks. Weird, but I am serious. That is where my worst rash has been. The bromine, I believe is a clear, tacky liquid that appears even after a shower and drying off.
What mg per drop is in the 15%?
Has anyone else actually felt like the bromine is on their skin, being pushed out?
Any guesses on how much Iodine I am getting through the wrists paints?
Does anyone have any idea on the upper level dosages? I listened to Dr. Brownstein say 300 mg daily can be used on Breast Cancer
Could Trapper or somebody else explain in a nutshell the difference in Iodines.
I am guilty of putting my Lugols
15% in orange juice. Usually about 10 to 15 drops.
I am open to all comments and information.
Thank you very much.
