Rather than doing an actual salt water flush, just take 1/4 tsp celtic Sea Salt
in a glass of water twice a day. This should be enough salt, unless you are especially bromide toxic, to help move the bromide out.
As for the ulcer/GERD, you could try both the ginger root juice and the licorice root powder. Maybe try the licorice root powder for a week (before breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and at bedtime) and see if that helps both. If it doesn't help with the GERD symptoms, add the GRJ (1 tsp first thing in the morning on an empty stomach--try not to eat or drink anything right after). If this really aggravates the ulcer, you may have to do the licorice root powder by itself for a while.
Warning: the ginger root juice is hot. You'll feel like you swallowed a shot of high-proof alcohol. The GRJ should be taken daily for 2 weeks.
Also take care of your liver/gallbladder. That could be some of the cause of what you are experiencing. And be careful if you are taking ascorbic acid unbuffered--that could aggravate your stomach.
